Sports channel Oneplay Sport has opted for a technological modernization of its facilities. In the premises of STAGES HOTEL Prague, it has built a new multifunctional center that integrates a television studio, editorial newsroom, and a complete broadcasting workplace. According to the station's representatives, this is one of the most modern facilities of its kind on the Czech market, enabling seamless live broadcasting and accompanying studio programs.

The main visual element of the new studio is a panoramic LED wall with a resolution reaching almost 16 million pixels. This technology is intended for displaying advanced graphics and interactive elements during broadcasts. The technical equipment is further complemented by systems for virtual projection and fully robotic cameras, which reduce the demands on manual operation and enable precise dynamic shots without the need for cameramen to be present on set.

The project also anticipates more direct public involvement in broadcasting. The complex includes an auditorium that can accommodate up to 80 viewers. The studio can thus function as an arena for discussion programs with audience participation or fan events. This arrangement is intended to allow the TV to create a more interactive environment than standard closed studios offer.

Oneplay Sport will commence full operation in the new digital environment at one of the key moments of the Czech football season. The new premises will be fully unveiled for the first time on the weekend of July 25th and 26th, when the new season of the top domestic football competition, the Chance Liga, kicks off. The station plans to use the new technology for match analysis and to enhance pre-match and post-match studio programs.

“A new dimension of sports broadcasting. Oneplay Sport will launch the Chance Liga season from its new studio,” states the station's official report on the introduction of the technological facility.

The localization of the studio within a hotel complex adjacent to the O2 arena indicates the station's strategic intent to be near significant sporting events and to leverage the synergies of modern infrastructure for its production needs.
