Zlín has also joined other regional capitals where Multiplex 11 can be tuned in. The network now covers regional cities of the Czech Republic and confirms its position as the largest non-nationwide television multiplex in the country.
Viewers in Zlín can now freely receive TV R programs, the thematic channel TV iVodárenství – television about water, and TV PRAHA, which broadcasts throughout MULTIPLEX RS 11. All television programs are broadcast in Full HD quality, providing a sharper picture and greater viewing comfort.
The Multiplex 11 offer also includes digital radio stations transmitted via the DVB-T2 standard. In addition to the music station Rádio ENERGIC, listeners can also tune in to ZUN Rádio, WORLD Rádio, SlowDown Rádio, or EDU Rádio, which expand the program offer with music of various genres, educational content, and thematic broadcasting.
The relocation of broadcasting to the new location in Zlín follows extensive modernization of the entire Regional Network 11, which this year underwent technical adjustments of broadcast parameters, multiplex optimization, and preparation of capacity for new television and radio programs.
The expansion of coverage to Zlín is also another step in the long-term strategy of Fiera touch, which operates the network. The group of entrepreneur Pavel Hájek continues this year with extensive digital transformation of its media projects. In addition to expanding television broadcasting, it is preparing new thematic television stations, expanding the offer of digital radios, modernizing technological infrastructure, and connecting classic television broadcasting with online services, HbbTV, and AI tools.
Multiplex 11 thus confirms that even a regional television network can be a technologically modern platform that offers quality picture, diverse content, and gradually expands its coverage and program offer. The new transmitter in Zlín represents another important milestone on the way to stronger and more accessible regional television for viewers throughout the Czech Republic.
