Jan Kavalírek, currently serving as CEE AI Ambassador and elected AI Personality of the Year 2025, has announced the launch of his new authorial series titled #CzechAItoTop10. The project aims to open a broader discussion about the position of the Czech Republic in the global technological race and demonstrate the practical impacts of artificial intelligence on various spheres of public and private life.
According to Kavalírek, artificial intelligence has already moved beyond merely generating content and has become a strategic technology with a direct impact on national security, industry, education, and science. The ambition of the new show is to motivate Czechia to take a more active approach, enabling the country to become one of the European leaders in the field of AI and not remain just a passive observer of ongoing technological changes.
The show's dramaturgy will focus on several key thematic areas. Kavalírek wants to explain to viewers, in an accessible way, how AI works and its practical use for increasing productivity in business and state administration. He will also address issues of technological infrastructure and the necessity of building domestic capacities within the local market, which he considers an essential prerequisite for maintaining competitiveness.
“AI is not a future that will one day arrive, but a presence that has already begun. And as Czechia, we need to succeed in it. I see it as a commitment to communicate about AI clearly, practically, and without unnecessary fear,”
states Jan Kavalírek regarding the motivation behind the show. Individual episodes will also reflect current changes in the job market and an analysis of the global race for AI dominance. The author emphasizes that the project is intended to serve as an educational and discussion platform for preparing for the unavoidable economic transformation.
The first episode of the #CzechAItoTop10 series is already available on social media. The project builds on Kavalírek's long-standing work in Central and Eastern Europe and his efforts to promote digital technologies.
