Within the high-tech facilities of the Lužice data center, a new era for the Czech digital industry is taking shape. Under the leadership of CEO Miloš Mastník, České Radiokomunikace (CRA) is building a sovereign AI infrastructure aimed at becoming a key hub for artificial intelligence development across the region. Built on the globally recognized NVIDIA platform, this technological foundation provides Czech businesses with computing power previously dominated by global tech giants.
The main objective of this expansion is to provide Czech startups and established enterprises with an environment to develop and run AI applications directly within the Czech Republic. This strategy addresses the growing demand for local computing power, enabling the training of complex models without reliance on remote foreign cloud storage.
Most of the NVIDIA accelerated computing infrastructure is currently concentrated at the Lužice data center, which hosts HGXB300 and DGXB300 systems.
The Technological Heart in Lužice
Current capacity at DC Lužice is already fully utilized by both international and local organizations. The infrastructure features advanced HGXB300 and DGXB300 systems designed for the extremely demanding workloads associated with neural networks. Yet CRA's ambitions do not end there; the company has confirmed that additional capacity is on the way and will soon bolster the existing hardware arsenal.
Investing in these technologies is not merely a matter of prestige, but above all of practical utility. Czech startups and corporations utilize these systems to train and run their own AI models. The benefits include not only top performance, but also minimized latency and direct control over hardware location—a critical requirement for many industries.
New AI initiatives are also in the works for Prague, where the company plans to equip the upcoming Prague Gateway DC with NVIDIA infrastructure.
Operational Efficiency Driven by Duvo.ai
One of the most prominent examples of using this infrastructure is Duvo.ai. This ambitious startup was founded by Tomáš Čupr, founder of the Rohlik Group. The project focuses on developing intelligent AI agents designed to automate routine yet administratively demanding processes across various corporate systems and documents.
AI agents on the Duvo.ai platform focus primarily on the following areas:
- Invoice verification — automated validation of supplier invoices and system matching.
- Supplier onboarding — streamlining the process of onboarding new business partners.
- International e-commerce — process support for retail businesses across Europe and the UK.
- System workflow execution — autonomous execution of designated tasks across internal company documentation.
According to Tomáš Čupr, the primary goal of this effort is to increase GDP per employee. Rather than replacing human workers, artificial intelligence takes over operational steps. Humans retain their role as final decision-makers where judgment and experience are essential, while repetitive operational tasks are handled by algorithms running on CRA servers.
Data Security and European Regulations
A crucial aspect of the partnership between CRA and Duvo.ai is data sovereignty. By leveraging dedicated servers within the České Radiokomunikace infrastructure, Duvo.ai can securely process sensitive customer data. This ensures data never leaves the European Union, which is critical for complying with strict regulatory and privacy requirements.
For Czech companies building products for global markets, this removes the need to compromise between peak performance and security. Sovereign AI infrastructure delivers both: world-class computing from NVIDIA and data retention compliant with European standards. This model appeals not only to domestic players but also to international businesses seeking a secure haven for their data in the heart of Europe.
The Future at Prague Gateway
The expansion of AI services will continue beyond Lužice. The next strategic step for České Radiokomunikace is the Prague Gateway DC project. This data center will serve as an additional hub equipped with infrastructure to support artificial intelligence development, building a robust network to meet the growing demands of the digital economy.
The project is being developed with close support from the NVIDIA team and implemented directly by CRA's engineering team. While specific dates for launching full capacity at the Prague facility have not yet been announced, the goal is clear: to establish a comprehensive ecosystem where cutting-edge hardware meets innovative Czech ideas.
