České Radiokomunikace (CRA) has reviewed the past twelve months and presented its strategic plans for the upcoming period. At the annual internal conference, CEO Miloš Mastník confirmed that the company intends to continue diversifying its portfolio beyond traditional broadcasting services. Artificial intelligence (AI), data center expansion, and cloud services are becoming key pillars of growth, as the operator responds to the constantly growing demand for computing power and digital infrastructure.
In the past year, CRA focused on modernizing existing capacities and acquisition activities. Among the most significant steps was the upgrade of the Lužice data center, which was equipped with NVIDIA graphics processors to provide GPUaaS (GPU as a Service). The company also strengthened its position in the digital streaming and online media segment through the acquisitions of the nangu.TV and PLAY.CZ platforms. Simultaneously, investments continued in the development of digital terrestrial television (DTT), the DAB+ radio standard, and the testing of 5G broadcast technology.
The outlook for 2026 anticipates an even more intensive focus on technological innovations. The strategy is supported by the majority owner, the investment group Cordiant Digital Infrastructure.
“Our strategy is clear: to increase our focus on artificial intelligence, data center development, and cloud services to keep pace with growing demand,” said Miloš Mastník, CEO of CRA.
According to the company's management, the current results are driven by the “Buy, Build, Grow” investment model applied by the Cordiant group. This approach prioritizes reinvesting a portion of profits back into innovations and strategic acquisitions of other companies. It is thanks to this model that CRA is transforming from a traditional provider of television and radio signals into a comprehensive technology partner with the ambition of becoming a national leader in digital infrastructure.
CRA representatives at the conclusion of the annual summary emphasized that close cooperation with the Cordiant Digital Infrastructure team, including key managers such as Steven Marshall and Kevin Moroney, is crucial for the company's stability and further expansion. In the coming years, further investments in infrastructure are expected to strengthen CRA's position in the data services and AI technologies market in the Central European region.
